The edge of the seax is made from high carbon bloom steel. The Viking themed handle fittings are made using chasing and repousse in fine silver and they are fitting on a bog oak handle. We use as many traditional materials and traditional blacksmithing techniques to create this blade from a 1000 years ago. This is not an over the top Assassin's Creed style Viking item.
